Mommy's life just got a whole lot easier....

This morning my little man finally made the hand to mouth connection and fed himself tiny bits of pancakes! Apparently the puffs, yogurt melts, bits of banana and watermelon that I have been trying were not enough motivation for him! But pancakes, the second I put those tiny bits of fluffy happiness in front of him he was scooping them up and gobbling them down as if he's been feeding himself his whole life! Silly boy! 8 months

Our little guy is 8 months old now! The days are flying by, it must be because we are having so much fun! At 8 months Grady is:

• Army crawling, and getting up on his hands and knees rocking like the rock start that he is.....ready to crawl any day. I think the hard wood floors are holding him back, and I can't say I blame him they'd put a hurtin on anyone's knees.




• Putting himself into a sitting position from his belly.




• Cutting his 3rd tooth, on the bottom, right along the first 2.




• Had his first high fever....102.9...hopefully it will be the last for a long while.




• Is finally starting to gain a few little chubby rolls here and there...so interesting to us because this is when his sister began to loose them!




• Is still loving food, especially yogurt melts! Nom,nom, nom!




• And this isn't a definite but he sure does seem to be trying to sign "milk"....it really wouldn't surprise me because the kid loves to nurse...but with this said, he is going about 4 hours between feedings.




• Can pull up in his crib, but after falling and bonking his head on a crib toy decided it's not so fun!

Grady's First Easter

Happy Easter Ya'll!

Grady really enjoyed his first Easter! The Easter Bunny brought him a basket full of yummy treats like Yogurt Melts & organic mango baby food! He really liked his sisters Easter Basket too, Mommy & Daddy managed to get the Easter grass into the trash before to much was consumed and/or drug around the house! After opening up baskets and hunting eggs at home we headed to Nan's house for a delicious brunch and more Easter goodies! And finally after a nice nap at Nan's we headed to Uncle Brad's for a swim and a yummy dinner.
